System Tier / Personal Liability Insurance Requirements

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility as the sales representative to inform my customers about the utility company’s liability insurance requirements for solar systems larger than 11.7 kW (DC). By submitting this project, I confirm that my customer is fully aware of the utility interconnection requirement, which mandates proof of personal liability insurance $1 million for Tier 2 systems or $2 million for Tier 3 systems prior to interconnecting their solar system to the grid.
